Christos Georgiou was born in 1943 in Greece (Sximatari) . He attended Doxiadis school with such teachers as: John Tsarouxis (Giannis Tsarouxis), A. Asteriadi, B.Katraki, D.Mytaras, D.Dekoulako, P. Zoumpoulaki. He graduated in 1968.From 1969 to 1976 he was in Paris attending Ecoles de Beaux-Arts, attending  Sculpture workshops (under Etenne Martin, Cesar, Collmarini) and engraving workshops (under Dayess, Legranche). In 1974 he did his postgraduate studies making use of a French government scholarship (A’ prize in sculpture). Christos Georgiou is a founding member of the Association of Greek Sculpture.
