Mandatzis Fotis was born in Giannitsa in 1970. He studied painting and engraving at the School of Art in Rome. His teachers were A. Trotti at painting and G. Berto at engraving.
He has been teaching painting and art at high school level for many years and he has taken part in a lot of team and personal exhibitions both in Greece and Italy.
Today he lives and works in the town of Giannitsa.
